Acupuncture for Chronic Conditions

 Pain, Digestive, Respiratory and More

Many of us struggle with recurring health challenges.

It seems that our modern lives create the perfect storm for health issues to arise and to stick around.  Acupuncture has been helping people heal from a myriad of chronic conditions for thousands of years.  I help patients to recover and maintain their health at the highest possible level, through regular acupuncture treatments, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle recommendations.

When I first begin working with a patient we usually start with weekly treatments.  This is the best option to be able to make progress and get momentum going as quickly as possible.  Acupuncture treatments are cumulative, the more you do the more effective they become.  The amount of time we spend in this first phase depends on the severity of the situation.  Oftentimes the longer a condition has been present, the longer it takes to get better.

Once a patient’s symptoms are eliminated or greatly improved we move onto the maintenance phase of treatment.  This is usually monthly or bi-monthly treatments.  Acupuncture is a powerful tool for prevention.  Also, with regular care, issues that pop up along the way can be dealt with easily and quickly.  There is nothing like catching things early!

Some of the conditions that I have helped people with are:

  • Digestive disorders like constipation, diarrhea and stomach pain.
  • Respiratory conditions like asthma, allergies, recurring colds and sinus infections.
  • Pain conditions like tendonitis, sciatica, TMJ and frozen shoulder.
  • Mental health issues like depression, anxiety and trauma recovery.
  • General health concerns like headaches, insomnia and chronic fatigue.

If you don’t see your condition on the list please contact me to discuss your situation.  Acupuncture helps with many, many conditions.  I look forward to talking with you!
